2050年には世界の７割の地域で地下水の枯渇が予測されている。
気候温暖化で水が枯渇し、作物が育たなくなり、輸出制限が起こると各国で暴動が起こる。食物の価格も高騰する。という予測がある。ワイン一本に使用する水の量は約650リットル。スラムの人が使用する水の二週間分。
