Consciousness is related to intuition. Intuition comes from consciousness during no-mind, and humans notice this intuition. Intuition harmonizes with the whole, while ego-based thinking disrupts it. Plants and animals do not have the power of thought, but they do have consciousness. Therefore, they exist as consciousness, with intuition always flowing in. Thus, these creatures that follow their intuition also harmonize their movements, and complex ecosystems naturally balance and harmonize with the whole.
Consciousness has no expression and gives no responses. It simply moves humans through formless things and events known as intuition. Humans interpret these in their brains and express them using their bodies.
There are artists and athletes who say, "Because my body moved naturally, I was able to produce such a wonderful result." That's because consciousness is using that person. The idea comes as intuition.
The state referred to as "the zone" or "flow" in sports is a state of being strongly present in consciousness, during no-mind. Therefore, without distractions or fear, high-quality play occurs when one surrenders to intuition.
Even children who start learning sports in their early childhood, who later become representatives at the prefectural level or above, often have sophisticated movements and judgment from the beginning. And around the age of 13, they move like adults. Therefore, intuition is something sophisticated, and the quality of expression increases as the physical techniques to express it are repeated and improved. Intuition comes from consciousness. Therefore, sophistication is a manifestation of consciousness itself. With this in mind, for example, the movement of fish forming a school, or the movement of birds flying in a V-shape, has both practical aspects of energy conservation and beauty. Animals without thought perform highly refined movements intuitively. To human thinking, it appears as harmony and beauty, but to thoughtless plants and animals, they are just acting.
Harmony and high-quality movement occur. That happens when following intuition. It cannot be created from ego-driven thinking.
