Thoughts create suffering.

If you repeat conscious stillness every day, you will be able to notice when your mind is occupied by thoughts. The more time you spend in stillness throughout the day, the less suffering your thoughts create, and the more it becomes a habit to stop quietly.

You will notice one important thing with this method. Even when you are stillness, thoughts will start on their own, and you will start remembering the past, and feelings of anger and sadness will arise. It can be a deep emotional wound or a feeling of inferiority that you are not even aware of. People who don't know about this habit of thinking suffer from anger and sadness because their emotions are swept away by the thoughts that occur on their own. However, if you know that these thoughts are temporary, and that if you become stillness, the thoughts and suffering will stop, you will eventually remain in a calm, quiet, and serene state. However, if intense anger or anxiety occurs, it will take some time to calm down.

What we can understand here is that when we are stillness, our mind becomes calm and peaceful. The happiness and joy that comes from gaining or achieving something, which is a common value, is only temporary, and as time passes, they fade away and desires reappear, which become attachments, and suffering begins. Happiness and suffering are two sides of the same coin and come alternately. There is no serenity. Permanent serenity can only be achieved when the mind is stillness, and that is only by stopping thinking. The more thoughts occupy your mind and the more you attach to something, the more suffering is created, so if you observe the process closely and become aware of it, you can more easily break free from the thought patterns that create suffering imprinted in your mind.

When they are in kindergarten, their thinking ability is not that developed, so they have less worries and are always happy. As they enter their second growth period around the age of 10, their bodies become more mature, their egos become stronger, and their thinking ability increases. This leads to an increase in worries, envy, inferiority, suffering, and conflict.

When we stop thinking and become stillness, it can mean sitting still and doing nothing, or it can mean doing something selflessly. When you just let your mind go blank, your intuition will come in and you will just let it take over. It's not a bad thing to use your thoughts, but you have to use them when you are planning something. At other times, we should let our thoughts sink in. You don't have to change your living environment to become stillness, and you can do it while you are still working or going about your daily life.
