Concentrate your awareness on a single point and become stillness.

Stand up straight or cross on your knees and close your eyes for 20 seconds. If any thoughts or words come to your mind, they are thoughts. Suffering is created from that.

Next, try closing your eyes again for 20 seconds. Then turn your attention to the space between your eyes. Then, since your consciousness is focused on one point, your thoughts stop and you become stillness. In other words, you have consciously stopped thinking. Inhale slowly through the nose for as long as possible, and exhale through the nose as well. You can do this with your eyes open.

The area behind the eyebrows is a place where thoughts come to mind, where memories of the past, predictions of the future, and fears suddenly come to mind. When you become absent-minded, they will stop and stillness will come. In other words, the selfish chattering of thoughts ceases and you suffer less. Now, continue this conscious attention throughout the day. If you continue to do this, your brain will become quiet all the time, and you will immediately notice any thoughts that occur and make it a habit to become stillness.

This means that you are in a state of conscious attention. The opposite of this is the unconscious state. When we get angry or excited, we sometimes speak out of our emotions, but this happens because we are not attentive in the unconscious state. When we are consciously looking at our inner world, as we have just done, we are in a state of alertness and are less likely to be carried away by our emotions.

One way to do this is to focus on the space between your eyebrows, which can be any object. For example, gazing at the clouds, being aware of the sounds of the environment while walking, being aware of your breathing, or focusing on something through your favorite activity.
