Brahmic scripts or Indian scripts are a general term for a family of scripts derived from Brahmic scripts. The Brahmi script is the ancestor of most script systems in South Asia, Southeast Asia, Tibet and Mongolia. In the map below, red is South Asia, orange is Southeast Asia, and yellow is Tibet and Mongolia.
Brahmic scripts are, for example, Hindi, Nepali, Newar Basa, Sanskrit, Burmese, Cambodian, Lao, Thai, Javanese, Balinese, Tibetan, and Bonji.
Brahmi means "character created by Brahma". It was concluded that Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva's Trimurti were Emptiness.
