Roman concrete

The building material of the Colosseum is called Roman concrete. The life of concrete in the 1900s is about 50 to 100 years, while Roman concrete has a durability of more than 2000 years.

The buildings where Roman concrete is used are as follows. Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Maxentius, Trajan's Market, Aqueducts and culverts of the Roman aqueduct, diversion facilities (Castellum aquae), Aurelian Walls (defense wall surrounding the city of Rome), Pantheon .Some of these have cut-and-joint masonry .

The Pantheon has the same architectural design as the relief of Sabagios.
