Kaunos, an ancient city in Turkey, also has a masonry with a notch. There are also ruins made by hollowing out the bedrock.
The design of the building carved on the bedrock in the image above can be seen in the reliefs of Sabagios and Tanit. The triangular roof, pillars, and the thick joints between the two are common.
