The Eskimos spread from Siberia to Greenland. Most of the Inuit and Native American Y-chromosome haplogroups are dominated by the Q strain, which is said to have occurred near Iran around 22,000 BC.

The clay figurines excavated from Alaska have triangular underwear drawn on them, and the way the hands are placed has something in common with the statues of goddesses in each region. The shader used by the Inuit has the same design as the Japanese shader clay eye. A vortex pattern with a golden ratio can also be seen in the shading clay figurines.
