Guerrilla rain and flooding depth

In order to prevent flooding under and above the floor of a dwelling caused by guerrilla rain, consider a structure that seals the area around the dwelling at a height of 1 meter from the ground. The damage rate to buildings is higher when the inundation depth exceeds 1m from the ground.

Approximate depth of flooding and damage

5 meters: Flooding up to the eaves of the second floor

2 meters: Flooding up to the eaves of the first floor (almost 100% damage)

1 meter: Up to waist-deep in water for an adult (damage to buildings will be high)

0.5 meter: Knee deep in water.
