Indigenous people and tobacco

The Mbuti tribe, born in Africa around 65,000 BC, tells the story of men and women who survived the Flood and became the ancestors of humankind. The Mbuti live in the rainforests of Congo and have a culture of smoking.

 

The Angu tribe, who slash-and-burn in Papua New Guinea, also has a culture of smoking.
