Learn how to learn

The process of growth is the same no matter what matter you are working on, and can be shortly summarized as "curiosity, practice and technique, and long-term repetition. The following is a more detailed summary.

1, Curiosity

Always follow your curiosity. Curiosity is intuition, and a good order of learning is to follow it and let it take its course. When you follow your curiosity, your learning becomes self-directed and it is easier to stay motivated.

2, Practice and iterate from small, simple skills and knowledge.

Select simple techniques and knowledge that are often used in practice, and repeat each one for 30 minutes a day for one week, and your body will begin to remember. At this time, visualize the techniques and movement styles of good performers by dividing them into 3 to 5 steps, and imitate them slowly at first. After a month or so, the synapses will begin to form, and after learning about three simple techniques, the body will get the hang of learning them. If you combine these techniques, you can create a compound technique. And then use these techniques in practice. Rather than trying to memorize the knowledge, one should try to increase the number of repetitions of seeing and hearing through practice so as to become familiar with it. Repeating the practice in this way will give you the hints you need for the next stage of growth. Repeating this process will increase your analytical ability, and when you work on other matters, you will have the ability to understand them immediately, thus increasing your ability to grow independently no matter what you do.

3, Amount of practice per day

The more repetitions you do, the more synapses you have and the higher the quality. Three hours or more daily is up, two hours is middle, and one hour or less is down. Practicing the same technique every day can become boring, so the key is to add variety even when practicing the same technique. Therefore, the key is to keep acquiring new knowledge from books, videos, and other people, and to think and devise new techniques on your own. This trial-and-error process fosters the ability to think and plan, and also fosters a broad knowledge and perspective, as well as a sense of self-control.

4, third year

After three years of using the skills and knowledge practiced in practice and making their own practice plans, they will have the ability to think and develop their skills, and will have a knack for growth and success. This gives them a sense of accomplishment, satisfaction, and self-confidence. In addition, if you work to the extreme to the limit within the limited 24 hours in a day, you will learn the limits of human beings and deepen your understanding of human beings. When we are fulfilled, the less egoistic we are, the more joy we feel in contributing to others. If you don't feel much growth during this period and feel like you are losing confidence, first take a close look at the repetition time. Less repetition means less growth. A person who is highly conscious and works an average of 3 hours every day will have worked 3,000 hours by the third year, which is a fast growth rate.

5, 10th year

If a person has been practicing a self-directed plan for 10 years, averaging more than 3 hours a day, he or she will have worked on it for a total of 10,000 hours; even for a person working 2 hours a day, the total will be 7,000 hours. That's a pretty high level in that matter. However, there is a big difference between 10,000 hours and 7,000 hours in terms of ability. However, it is only when you have a vocation or the right job that you are able to continue to this level, and it is only because you have a high sense of commitment. Also, in the case of material success, we know that it is not the goal of life. The key then is to be mindless, to leave attachment behind, and to be calm. If a person practices about one hour a day for 10 years, the total practice time would be about 3,500 hours; the difference in practice time from someone who has practiced 10,000 hours would be about 2.8 times the difference, a clear difference in ability.

This is a way of learning that applies to most things, including exercise, the arts, and intellectual activities. Even though the things we do are different, it is the human body that does them, and when the human body is understood, the process of growth is the same no matter what. Also, there is little need for an instructor, and the basic amount of work is done 80-100% by oneself, with the teacher teaching and giving opinions on what is not understood. In this way, they develop themselves through self-analysis.
