Farmland

In Prout Village, food is cultivated using natural farming methods, but there is plenty of land in the surrounding area to do so. Fruits and other crops that are harvested frequently are grown near the residence, while rice and other crops that are harvested only once or twice a year are grown in a large area a little farther away, and sometimes even outside of the village. In such cases, the scope of use will be decided through discussions with neighboring municipalities. Crops that take a long time to grow, such as rice, and are used as staple food, should be grown in areas that are not affected by slope failure. At home, hydroponic cultivation, in which crops are piled up vertically, can be used to obtain a stable supply of vegetables and other crops in a planned manner.
